Date of Auction – Friday- April 12, 2024

Time – 6 pm

Art Donation submission deadline – Monday February 26, 2024

Art submissions for the auction.

This year we plan on having more submissions than we did last year. We have decided that only 20 pieces will be physically auctioned off that evening. These pieces we want to be larger, so 11×14 is the smallest art size we will accept, the frame of course can be larger for the formal auction. We will also have a silent auction as well. These pieces can be any size. All art submitted must be original art.

We will need pictures of your submissions by Monday February 26. We need the pictures that early because UBTech needs that much time to put the art on their website to advertise the auction, and… we will be going to businesses all over town to invite them to the auction and we will need the website up and ready for them to view. Please submit pictures of your art to Lori Burchinal at ilike2watchpaintdry@gmail.com

We are working with a fabulous committee! The new members of the committee are helping us get to the next level of auction bids and helping us with ideas to generate more interest and get more people to the auction.

We will also need your help as artists, and we will be talking about this at our next UBVA meeting for a short few minutes.

Along with your submission please include a bio of you the artist and all information about your piece of art you are submitting.

Auction presenter David Gales showed off artwork and gave descriptions of the artwork and a brief biography of the artist. Auctioneer Arturo Colmenares took the bids as they came fast and furious. Over $6,000 was raised for the UBTech Scholarship Fund. Thank You
